Stay Healthy with Multivitamins

While getting your nutrition from a properly balanced diet of healthy foods is certainly the best thing you can do to support good health, it’s most definitely not one of the easiest.  Another good option that can make this an easier task is to blend up a good variety of fruits and vegetables, maybe more, for a morning shake.  If you’re still finding that difficult your next best bet is probably a multivitamin – but keep in mind not all are created equal!

Choosing a good multi vitamin can prove to be an overwhelming task as there is a huge selection on the market, all claiming to be the best.  The good news at least, is no matter what you chose the chances of actually harming your health is low, instead you’re more likely to just end up wasting some money (still though, not good!).  What I”d like to do is recommend a multivitamin that we feel is one the best and explain why.  Envie

To that end, lets start with one of biggest problem most multivitamins share – absorption.   Unfortunately and commonly, a lot of the vitamins and minerals in multi’s are not able to be absorbed properly by the body, meaning they simply pass through not doing you much good.  You can tell by looking up absorption rates of one you may be interested in.  In addition to this, most are incomplete.  If you’re not getting proper nutrition, chances are it’s not just Vitamin C you’re missing.  Instead you need antioxidants. amino acids, enzymes, etc.  Also important is if it’s organic or not – you’re trying to be healthy, not add more chemicals to your body.  For these reasons, we continually recommend Nutrakey Envie.  It’s a powder multivitamin (for better absorption) that’s organic and includes mixed greens, minerals, vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, enzymes and more.  It actually has an absorbtion rate of 99% which is outstanding.

Here’s a glimpse of what’s inside:
• Greens Complex: Broccoli, Chlorella, Spirulina, Brown Rice, Spinach, Kelp, Wheat Grass and Barley Grass.
• Amino Acid Blend: L-tryptophan, L-Cysteine, L-Methionine, L-Alinine, L-Glycine, L-Threonine, L-Tyrosine, L-Glutamine, L-Taurine and L-Aspartic Acid
• Botanical Anti-Oxidant Blend: Grape Skin Extract, Green Tea Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Bilberry Fruit Extract
• Enzyme Blend: Lactase, Cellulase, Hemicellulase, Protease, Amyloglucosidase, Lipase, Amylase and Papain.

Lots of good stuff!  Hopefully this inspires you to give it a try and see what you think!
